Kim Harris, Co-Founder

Kim Harris brings a unique background to FamilyIntel  -- management skills in customer relations, professional experience with web-based subscription services, and a passion for raising children and strengthening family.  Prior to launching FamilyIntel, Kim led the customer service department for a firm that helps leading technology companies gain competitive intelligence and improve their performance.  She made sure high-tech companies received timely product reviews and analysis via the firm’s website.  Her work allowed businesses to better understand current challenges, make tactical decisions, and develop rapid responses.  Today, along with overseeing FamilyIntel operations, Kim is a scout leader, room mom, Sunday school teacher, community volunteer, youth sports booster, and mother of four.

Greg Harris, Co-Founder

Throughout his 20 year career, Greg Harris has condensed and summarized detailed information and communicated the key ideas to a variety of audiences.  He first worked as a TV news producer, then as a U.S. Senate press secretary, and most recently as a senior executive at the U.S. Department of Justice.  In addition, Greg is passionate about making sure children and families receive the guidance they need.  He served as second-in-command of the federal office that oversees delinquency prevention, family strengthening, and child protection programs.  He also served as board member for an organization providing residential care and counseling for at-risk youth.  At FamilyIntel, Greg takes volumes of information on parenting and family relationships and turns it into useful, actionable intelligence for today’s busy families, including his own.
